The housing developer Selvaag has long traditions of using art to enrich its surroundings. Over three generations, Selvaag has put out over 600 sculptures and artworks in its commercial and residential projects. The sculpture parks at Tjuvholmen and the Peer Gynt park are the result of a vision to make art accessible as a natural part of urban life. The goal is to create vibrant neighborhoods where people meet, to be inspired and experience art in everyday life, outside the walls of museums.
The sculpture park is a natural part of Tjuvholmen, one of Oslo's most vibrant areas for art, food and city life. Here you will find galleries, restaurants, hotels and the Astrup Fearnley Museum, all surrounded by fjords and world-class architecture.
